What is NiceBrow's Signature Brows?

NiceBrow's Signature Brows is a semi-permanent makeup (aka. Microblading) method performed on the eyebrows that can make a huge difference to your face. The revolutionary technique creates natural eyebrows by imitating each single hair stroke in the correct shape and style. We mixed a combination of pigments best suited to your skin tone, resulting in a more realistic look. Great eyebrows can help to frame your face and give you a groomed, fresh and youthful appearance. Everyone will notice that you became more youthful looking but no one will noticed that you’ve had anything done because it was so natural. This is highly recommended to those who have lack of brows hair.

Microblading Vs Tattoo Eyebrows?

Microblading penetrates the skin to a depth of only 0.08mm to 0.15mm. At this depth, the pigment is deposited into the border between the epidermis and dermis. Tattoo eyebrows penetrates much deeper, to a depth of 1mm. At this depth, pigmentation is deposited into the middle layer of the skin - the dermis. Unlike traditional tattoo eyebrows where color will turn blue or red, semi-permanent eyebrows will only fade away in time. Instead of outlining and completely filling in the outline of your brows with color,  actually allows for the placement of hair like strokes into the skin. Because the pigment sits so superficially in the skin the strokes are sharp, crisp, and they mimic the look of real hair!

Is Microblading safe?

All our needles are sealed and packaged for single use (disposable) and tools are sterilized before and after each use. Our senior specialists are highly trained and experienced professionals, licensed by New York State.

Is Microblading painful?

Pain is relative, as this will of course depend on your pain threshold. Some feel it more than others. Overall it feels like little scratches. Most people said on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being the highest, their level is between 1-2. You feel it, but it's not unbearable. With numbing cream applied, you'll be able to deal with it.

How long does the result last?

Your new, refined brows, eyeliners, or lips will last anywhere between 1-3 years predicated on the environmental exposure it receives. The most critical is the first 2 weeks after the procedure where after care steps should be strictly followed to lengthen the result duration.

How long is the procedure?

The initial procedure involved designing the shape, and then applying pigments that matched the surrounding layer of the skin. Because procedures are manually done by trained specialists, please planned to stay for about 3 hours. The touch up session (which is usually 1 month later) should take about 2 hours.

Do I need a touchup session?

Our recommendation is to come back for at least 1-2 touch-up session after 4-6 weeks of the initial session to enhance the strokes of the brow for a better, longer lasting result. This is especially true if you would like to make any changes to the shape of your brow, or fill in any areas needing correction or modification. During this “touch up” procedure, the makeup specialists will go over your eyebrows again, exactly repeating the initial session. This repetition helps the color last longer into the skin.

What is the recovery period?

Initially, the operated area appear darker, but fade significantly over a two week period. During this time, it is absolutely crucial that minimal water should touch the skin where pigments were applied for longer, better result. Please do not apply any skincare products or touch the skin, even when it itches. Furthermore, it is also very crucial to have a touch up done, as it is very difficult to predict how well the skin will retain the pigment.

What are the after care procedures?

During the first 5-7 days after the procedure, please make sure your hands are completely clean and gently apply the post-care ointment with clean hands.
Please wash your face carefully around the eyebrow without getting water on the treated area. This is very important so the pigments can stay inside the skin and not be washed away.
Itching and flaking may appear and please do not scratch it. Let the skin piles and heal itself. In that way, the pigments can stayed inside the skin.

Additional information will be provided once procedure is completed.
